Regal Motors Holdings Sdn Bhd has officially launched its new Proton 3S dealer outlet in Section 13, Petaling Jaya. The event was officiated by Dr Li Chunrong, Chief Executive Officer of PROTON, in the presence of Senior Management members of PROTON.
Regal Motors Holdings Sdn Bhd shifted its entire 3S operations to Section 13, Petaling Jaya from its Old Klang Road premise to serve customers better. The Petaling Jaya 3S outlet covers a land area of approximately 1.2 acres and is situated in a busy industrial area and is strategically located along the automotive belt with other competitor brands
The outlet has 12 service bays and 6 hoists to expedite customer service time. In addition it could accommodate an additional 6 hoists when business picks up. At the moment, it has 13 Sales Advisors and 11 service staff, which consist of 1 Service Manager, 2 Service Advisors, 1 Customer Relations Executive, 6 technicians and 1 job controller.
The existing business in Jalan PJS 7/23, Bandar Sunway, will continue to operate as a standalone Body & Paint centre to service its customers in the vicinity. The area here covers approximately 1.5 acres.
PROTON has achieves 88% of outlet upgrades as at 20 August and the Company is confident to achieve a total of 109 outlets by October this year. Currently 96 outlets have been approved for upgrades.
PROTON displayed its Ertiga Xtra at the official launch of the 3S outlet. The Ertiga, which first made its appearance at the 1-Tank Finals at Parkroyal Penang, received positive response from the public.
There are two prominent updates to the car; the darker seat, an eye pleaser for that added premium feel, which is stain-proof, and another is the 7- inch touch screen head unit which includes a navigation system, DVD player, Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity for modern day customer convenience.
“The Ertiga is impressive in many ways. For a family usage, this car is a real bargain. It has the best fuel consumption in its class with 5.7L/100km, thanks to the 1.4L DOHC VVT engine. It is also versatile in many ways, like the one action walk in mechanism makes access to the third row easy. Besides this, the multiple seat configurations also makes it easier to fold the rear seats which allows user to carry long and large cargos for work or personal usage. There are plenty of space for family outing and ample space in the third row to fit children and adults. Furthermore the rear air-conditioning blower will ensure everyone gets a cooling ride in sunny Malaysia weather,” said Abdul Rashid Musa, Chief Executive Officer of PROTON Edar Sdn Bhd.
